Thank you, Elizabeth. Short story collections have a way of disappearing from public sight even when they are very good — you may have to stop back every month or so with another comment to bring this excellent collection back to people’s attention.

Leroy: Exactly — a number of very interesting streams, all presented in a highly refreshing manner. An excellent collection.

Actually, there is another stream that I neglected to mention — figuring out how to get along with women (Henry’s marriage doesn’t come until late in the book and he has a number of mis-steps on that front).
