I hope you are not taking time from your medical practice to look for gossip on Prince Harry! I dont know of any upcoming publications, but I’ll be on the lookout and let you know if they loom. I think you would enjoy the Nicholl book as half of it is devoted to Harry.

Thanks for this enjoyable royal blog about the fancy pair. Having replaced Arnold in the travel California commercials they’re Hollywood royalty too! Please continue to point out interesting reads for those of us who can’t get enough. Are you aware of any publications on the horizon focusing on my favourite, Harry?

These books are the tip of the iceberg, and wecan expect a deluge as the months go by. There is a huge market for this kind of material.
I think these two are very grounded, and will chart a steady and conservative course. Pippa, on the other had could attract a lot of blowback if she gets out ahead of herself.

Sheila, excellent post. I had no idea that so many books had already been published about this intriguing couple. William and Catherine appear to be taking their new responsibilities in stride. It gives me hope that they’ll be able to rise above the inevitable backlash that will come about once the honeymoon with the press is over..

thank you for your comment. I think The Firm wil be very careful in managing the tours and events the Cambridges undertake. They have learned a lot from the issues with Diana and Fergie.

Sheila, as always, the most knowledgeable commentator and historian on the British monarchy. Very well said.

We have all been impressed with how Kate/Catherine is growing into the role, and how the fact that she is 10 years older than Diana was when she got married at the tender age of 19, etc.

I agree that the Canadian trip may be, in a sense, “too successful”, let alone Los Angeles, and that they may be forced to plunge into more international tours too early on. I have nothing but admiration for them and thank you for your frank reviews of the current books. I’ll stick with listening to your commentary, rather than buying any of these.

Catherine is not technically a princess yet because William is not the crown prince yet – you are right!

Question – why is Catherine not a princess? Is it because William is not a crown prince?
