Congrats to the winners.
Kevin, even though I didn’t win, I am glad that you are supporting new authors. It’s so hard to receive publicity these days.

Isabel: Well, I certainly get some help from Random House. And my friends at WordFest, the Calgary authors’ festival also keep an eye out for me on new voices whom they think I should read. I do feel that offering some recognition of new work is one thing that the blog certainly should do.

Hi Kevin,
Just wanted to let you know that my copy of ‘Touch’ arrived yesterday. I’ve a couple of other books on the go at the moment but look forward to reading it next.
Thanks again, Pat
